Storytelling for Self Expression

  • Soul Flow Studio 3095 El Cajon Blvd San Diego, CA 92104 (map)

Our lives and understanding of the world are composed of the stories we share and the stories we tell ourselves. Storytelling can be a powerful tool for self expression. By sharing the stories of who we are and what is important to us, it allows us to show up and connect with the world in new and important ways.

In this workshop we’ll explore the elements of crafting a personal story, how to zero in on the story you want to share, and the steps for pulling it out of your mind and out into the world. Special emphasis will be placed on exploring the aspects of vulnerability and honest self reflection it will take to make your story resonate. Finding your story can help other people understand you and help you understand yourself.

This workshop will be hands on and interactive. All levels of writers and storytellers can benefit from this workshop. Be sure to bring something to write with.

Registration: $45
